About WestDry

At its inception, the company was committed to develop a research and manufacturing capability. This became a reality in 1991 when the company produced its first batch of cobalt octoate followed shortly with other metal carboxylates. The company also began to expand its line of plasticizers at the same time.

Westdry is now focused on supplying two major industries:

Driers for paint and coatings. Drying catalysts, commonly known as metal soaps, are used to hasten the film formation and curing of paints, inks, varnishes, and other oleoresinous systems.

Plasticizers for a broad range of plastics products. Plasticizers are organic ester compounds and are used to increase the plasticity of PVC and other resins.
